24. Plastic Free – Environment

Kia Ora.

This week we had another reading slide about environmental things. Tuhi and Karearea (the two highest groups in room 9) Had to do the same slides maybe so it can be easier for my teacher to get two groups at once instead of each group coming back and fourth. It looks familiar to the other reading task, but it isn’t the other one.

This one is about plastic/rubbish, and why is it responsible to do so. There were a set of slides for us to work on, and it was easy in my opinion because of how short the slideshow is. I’m happy that I got to finish it in time!

Down below is the thing that I’m explaining!

Comment what you think…God bless you!

24. reading response – Broken Wing

Kia ora.

Here’s my reading response slide-show.(Never in my life have I been fishing by the way, so that’s why slide 6 is not really finished.)

The story is a suspense one, and is about a kid whose name is ‘Hew’. In the story, he’s fishing with his Grandfather to acknowledge fishing. They also mentioned that the Grandfather introduced Hew to the broken wing, a bird that looks like a crow, but swan sized.

This story is low-key scary to me, because how the broken winged bird-type looks. If you were to read the story, you would understand what I’m trying to say.

I highly do recommend reading this book, its very… suspenseful and interesting. For the people out there who loves books that brings in suspicion, Broken Wing is the one.
